It was formed in 2021 by Taiwan-based singer and illustrator Kanbin, London-born producer SKYTOPIA, also known as a former member of Kero Kero Bonito, and bassist Kuroji, whose support work includes Night Tempo. Influenced by city pop, Showa-era Japanese popular music and soul/R&B, the unit works across borders from its bases in Tokyo and Taiwan.
