KOMONO LAKE, a three-piece unit influenced by city pop, Showa-era Japanese popular music and soul/R&B, releases “抱きしめられて” (“Embraced”). Its retro atmosphere recalls television dramas of the past, drawing listeners into a summer song with a poignant edge beneath its refreshing scenes. The track began as an entry in Sprayer's spring 2024 song contest “ICHIGOICHIE 2 – GROW.” The nominated demo now receives its long-awaited full-length release.
