klee Releases “film,” the First in Four Consecutive Months of Releases

Celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2021, klee has released “film” as the first in four consecutive months of digital releases.

The band’s first new song in five years explores “boundaries,” bringing its distinctive pop sensibility and floating melodies together in a band sound.

Recording was handled by 中村公輔, who also worked on the band’s first album and whose credits include 折坂悠太 and ルルルルズ. Mixing is by しらいしかずや, with the cover designed by emerging illustrator ヤマダユウ. The song’s music video and liner notes have also been released at the same time.

The second release is scheduled for October 10, as klee continues to launch new initiatives during its anniversary year.
