Formed in June 2023. The self-produced debut track “Motrr” draws on roots including funk R&B and jazz hip-hop. Guitarist/vocalist Hiyn and drummer Sho first connected while jamming together in high school. Bassist Zum was called in at short notice after a cancellation, traveled from Shiga to perform in Osaka and became part of the group. They met keyboardist Rosa in a jazz club, thought Rosa was a genius and proposed joining; the answer was immediate. DJ Ofeen is Hiyn’s childhood friend and joined in part because of their shared musical tastes. With assured musicianship, the five create an addictive sound that, together with distinctive lyrics, makes listeners’ hearts dance. Before you know it, you find yourself humming along and turning to the right.
