“錯覚,” the debut single by Osaka-born singer-songwriter でもな, known as a chameleon singer, will be released on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
The song addresses a turbulent world in which, as でもな sees it, similar music has proliferated in recent years and ideas such as “being yourself” or “having a personality different from others” are easily criticized under collective pressure. Even the words someone declares to be right may simply be borrowed from another person. The narrator had imagined that they possessed a distinctive identity, only to realize that they, too, were trying to blend in with everyone else. It is a song that suggests that whether to change or stay the same is up to you.
FTZ records will continue supporting でもな’s activities in a variety of ways.
