■えんぷてい
えんぷてい is an indie rock band that began activities in June 2020. Rooted in DIY, its distinctive, wavering sound has already attracted considerable attention from music fans. Its nostalgic yet new sound and lyrics give form to emotions that are difficult to put into everyday words. An essential presence in any discussion of a new generation of music.
Formed in 2020, the band brings together members around vocalist オクナカ in pursuit of a minimal, dreamy sound. Its energetic activities include a single released that December featuring two songs: “Sweet Child,” which suggests experimental challenges beneath refined, dreamy and psychedelic sound design, and “微睡,” whose exotic atmosphere also draws listeners to the mysterious resonance of Japanese.
