みふく, a soft collective based in Mishima, Shizuoka, released their new single ‘Continue’ on October 7, 2026.
Built around soft soul, the track gently layers words over spacey analog synths and tranquil nylon-string guitar. A song for making it through another winter, it depicts the seasons turning and life continuing even after something once precious has drifted away.
The phrases 〈君のせいじゃないよ〉, 〈大事にしすぎないで 夜を〉 and 〈大事にしすぎないで 今を〉 recur throughout the song. Rather than forgetting sorrow or forcing oneself to overcome it, life goes on without knowing what tomorrow will bring. The song softly embraces quiet loss and the days that lie beyond it.
