Fukuoka-based duo VIBI digitally released its new single, “せいかつ,” on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The song depicts everyday loneliness and the happiness found in unremarkable moments.
The track uses languid blues and acoustic sounds to evoke familiar scenes reminiscent of a four-and-a-half-tatami room. CHOYO, who has worked on VIBI’s music before, joins as sound producer. By layering programming over acoustic textures, the track captures the warmth of everyday life. Members オノリリサ and 松藤十萌 wrote the lyrics and music.
The cover artwork is by Quraki, the artist behind the characters “この子” and “こびとくん.” Characters and motifs that seem to emerge from everyday life give visual form to the scenes depicted in the song.
