R&B singer-songwriter Arche released the single “言い訳” on January 22, 2025.
Arriving around two months after “SIDE-B,” this is Arche’s first digital single of 2025. Listeners have been eagerly awaiting the song after a short demo appeared on TikTok. The track stands out for its lo-fi texture and hip-hop-influenced beat. An enveloping softness in the vocals carries a stinging edge, blending with the beat through a finely judged sense of balance.
The lyric video, released at the same time, was filmed in a single take with one camera, producing an immediate, immersive result.
