CONNECTION is an emerging-artist showcase project by HOT STUFF PROMOTION × ULTRA-VYBE.
The project links live events with a digital compilation. Participating artist シライシナオヤ released ‘不可逆的幸福論[Rerec]’ on March 18, ahead of the compilation scheduled for Thursday, April 8.
シライシナオヤ is a singer-songwriter of the Reiwa era who handles his own lyrics, composition and arrangements. After playing in bands, he began pursuing his solo career in earnest in 2023. With a rock-oriented yet chilled sound, striking riffs and addictive melodies, the Gunma-based artist also performs actively with a band.
His contribution, ‘不可逆的幸福論［Rerec］’, is a new mix and master, prepared for this release, of the original recording released in 2023. The contrast between its catchy chorus and dark lyrics, along with its strange, unsettling riffs, leaves a strong impression. Its bold live arrangement, which develops from rock into jazz, is also worth hearing.
