About KOMONO LAKE
KOMONO LAKE is a three-piece unit whose members come from diverse backgrounds. The group formed in 2021 with Kanbin, a Taiwan-based singer who also works as an illustrator; SKYTOPIA, a London-born producer also known as a former member of Kero Kero Bonito; and bassist Kuroji, whose support work includes Night Tempo. Their music draws on city pop, Showa-era Japanese pop, and soul/R&B, while their border-crossing activities unfold from bases in Tokyo and Taiwan.
