Osaka-based 18-year-old trackmaker Kinail will release the digital single “OUT OF LOVE” on November 17, 2021.

The collaboration features vocals by Osaka-born singer-songwriter Shion, who attracted considerable attention through the social media outlet “PLAYLIST -プレイリスト-” and also took part in the Clubhouse project “No more...”.

Mastering is by SKYTOPIA, the music producer also active in KOMONO LAKE. Production is handled by Kakka, a university student who works as an artist, curator for independent music platform Eggs and radio DJ.

The song explores the ache of a love that remains just out of reach: the conflicting feelings it brings, and the desire to stay close and smile beside someone even while suppressing the urge to cry. It holds the hope that one day this love can be spoken of as a fond memory. Though painful, it expresses a wish to remain positive.

LYRICS

「OUT OF LOVE」

Lyrics: Shion / Music: Kinail

In my life

you were the all of me.

But never say and never see me

I cherish you.

It will in the sky

You never take me

to the world with me

I never be

grow up from someday I met you

You and I

see whole new world

Never say

and Never find me

So at the least

stay with me tonight

I sacrificed everything

just by your side

Don’t give kindness

irresponsibly

You are the one

who pressure me

but you are the one

who afflict me

You never be

changed from someday you met me

I love you

and I hate you

Hold my feeling

and I go to find key myself

I’m sorry

that I love you
