Ryoma Takamura & Noconoco have released “Comedy,” their first new song in two years.


The track calls the ironic modern loop of being overwhelmed by the very job one began to escape boredom a “comedy.”


It also depicts the lethargy and emptiness that cannot be dispelled even when material needs are met. Ryoma Takamura’s cynical, lightly delivered lyrics and rap blend perfectly with Noconoco’s mellow, wistful production. The result offers gentle companionship on nights that make you want to sigh, or as the soundtrack to wandering the city without a destination.
