Singer Sala and lo-key design, the project of singer salto and beatmaker/producer Rikuto Nagira (from shosha), released the new single ‘Salad’ on September 30, 2026.
The track draws parallels between making a salad and relationships between people. Through motifs such as unevenly shaped lettuce and hard avocados, it depicts a message that ‘you do not have to force everything into a neat shape,’ accepting the emotions and imperfections that arise in relationships.
The process by which another person’s love gradually brings color to days that felt dull alone is expressed through the metaphor of salad and dressing. Sala and salto’s vocals are joined by light melodies and rhythms.
