Sar mo waits released their third single, “結末,” digitally on November 4, along with a music video.
Depicting a farewell, the song layers direct lyrics and hymn-like choruses over a sound steeped in the atmosphere of 1990s UK rock. It is their third single since their debut in July this year.
The video includes the first scenes of the members performing since the band began its activities. Grainy images and on-screen text evoke the early Heisei era, expressing the world of the song. The band will also begin performing live in earnest in November.
【Comment from Yuddy (Vocals & Guitar)】
What will we think about in our final moments—
Listening to UK rock from the 1990s, that thought suddenly crossed my mind.
Those who left their music behind at the end of the century
somehow seem to carry a sense of things coming to an end.
Parting with people dear to us; the moment we let go of beliefs we have held.
When an ending comes suddenly, we are always bewildered and powerless to resist it.
As morning approaches, these wandering thoughts begin to come together.

Sar mo waits
A trio formed in 2026 at a record bar in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Their music combines alternative rock and shoegaze with melodies reminiscent of pop. The three Seinan Gakuin University alumni from Fukuoka came together to form the band a decade later. Their sound is shaped by Yuddy’s songwriting, Kamibayashiyama’s bass and Kudo’s drums.
