堀込泰行 will release a cover of 香坂みゆき’s 「ニュアンスしましょ」 digitally on November 11, ahead of a physical release. It has been announced as the fifth installment of 「サンミュージック・レコード リバイブプロジェクト」.
The cover reworks the introduction and adds an interlude that was not in the original. Its pared-back arrangement brings out a different kind of poignancy from the original recording. 堀込 handled the mixing himself as well.
With 弓削匠 serving as label producer, the project offers new interpretations of songs associated with サンミュージック. This recording is also scheduled for a later release on 7-inch vinyl.

By the time I had made a demo covering a verse and chorus, I already had a complete picture of the sound I wanted, so although it was not easy, I tried doing the mixing myself as well. I also came up with a kind of arrangement I had never made before, which has made me look forward even more to making my own music in the future.

堀込泰行
He debuted in 1997 as the vocalist and guitarist of the sibling band 「キリンジ」. After leaving the band on April 12, 2013, he began working as a solo artist. He made his solo debut with the single 「ブランニュー・ソング」 on November 19, 2014. His releases include the collaborative EP 「GOOD VIBRATIONS」.
