Trackmaker B-HOPE and singer Ch! released “Blast,” a blend of 2-step and electro, on June 4.
Built on 2-step with mellow electric piano, the track centers its chorus on vocal chops and layers of backing vocals.
Through wordplay, it explores a view of life and death expressed as “どの人間も始まった時は自分の意思ではないけど、選べはする無常さ.” Listen for its K-pop-influenced sound and addictive developments.

Trackmaker / DJ, Japan. After gaining experience as a DJ in Tokyo from 2018, B-HOPE began focusing on track production in 2023. In 2024, the trackmaker joined a China tour organized by Luuv Label, featuring sucola and フレンズ. There, B-HOPE served as backing DJ for Som, a Japanese-Korean singer-songwriter and composer. Using only a computer and MIDI keyboard, B-HOPE creates chill, groovy electro music with a distinctive expressive approach and sensibility.

A singer-songwriter and topliner who pursues unrestricted music-making across genres, drawing on skills including guitar, vocals, music production and horn. An early encounter with the trumpet led Ch! into music, followed by experience playing guitar and horn. With “fun” as the central theme of upbeat, danceable tracks, Ch!’s music is approachable even for first-time listeners.
