Coldhot releases the single “Passport” digitally on February 14, 2024.
Coldhot is a dance-music unit formed in 2022 by three members: Swing Ya (タカノシンヤ), a navigator on J-WAVE’s afternoon show GRAND MARQUEE who also works as Frasco; SKYTOPIA, also a member of KOMONO LAKE; and ngtkntr, known for his involvement in a wide range of projects including Frasco and ππ来来.
The track explores “travel” in a broad sense. Evocative samples and floating textures give it a sense of scenery while retaining a club-oriented sound.
To celebrate the release, the group will also hold a release party titled “RELEPA” at SWIPE in Ikejiri-Ohashi on Friday, February 23. Keep an eye on it.
