Fukuoka City-based rapper Has-ki digitally released the new song “Neon Sign” on Wednesday, January 24 and shared its music video.
The theme of the track is “the city at night.”
A flowing, light-footed beat, stylish phrases and contemporary expressions mingle with a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the 1990s.

A 20-year-old rapper based in Fukuoka. Has-ki began freestyling at 14 and started making songs in earnest at 16. Self-produced tracks were featured by Fukuoka Collective, now SPACE SHOWER FUKUOKA. After adopting the name Has-ki, the October 2021 release “かぷせるわーるど” became popular on TikTok. In 2022, Has-ki released the full-length album “Normal” and EP “Diary 1,” receiving support from playlists and radio stations including LOVE FM, ZIP-FM and bayfm. “One room” reached No. 2 on the CRJA FUKUOKA chart, while “blue sky” entered Teen Culture and Spotify Japan’s rising chart. More recently, Has-ki has collaborated with ADD CREATIVE and Gerardparman, and shared stages with 釈迦坊主, サイプレス上野 and SONOTA, expanding an approach rooted in Japanese hip-hop.
