Launched in June 2023. Their first release, “Motrr,” was self-produced with roots in funk, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop. The band began when guitarist/vocalist Hiyn and drummer Sho hit it off through jam sessions in high school. Bassist Zum was called in at short notice after someone canceled, traveling from Shiga to Osaka for a live show and becoming part of the group. Keyboardist Rosa met the others through a university jazz club; Rosa was regarded as a genius and immediately accepted their invitation. DJ Ofeen, Hiyn’s childhood friend, joined because their musical tastes also aligned. The five members’ assured musicianship creates an addictive sound, and their distinctive lyrics set listeners’ hearts dancing. Before you know it, you find yourself humming along and turning to the right.
