modern times Bloom, the solo project of 中野大地, released the new single ‘ローファイフライト’ on September 30, 2026.
The track is a second collaboration with trackmaker Kuwazuru. It combines a slow, mellow lo-fi sound with Kuwazuru’s arrangement, built around 中野大地’s vocals.
The song depicts the struggle of being asked for ‘results’ while chasing a dream and feeling on the verge of losing sight of oneself. Even so, it expresses a desire to change the future without changing what lies at one’s core, presented as a ‘quiet flight log’ for facing oneself on a nighttime walk.
On November 8, modern times Bloom will host the self-organized event ‘To each their own’ at Art Beat Cafe NAKANOSHIMA.

What did I want to become, and what did I want to do when I started down this road? The further I went, the more I found myself being asked only for ‘results,’ until I could no longer see my true self. Peers finding success, motivation wavering. In my head, I know that dreams alone cannot put food on the table. Conflicts I cannot tell anyone about dissolve into the darkness of a quiet night like words spoken to myself. Night after night, I can only scream inside my heart so that no one hears. I knew all along that a life spent merely walking to the correct rhythm laid out for me would never be enough. I want to change what lies ahead without changing anything at my core. Because I am still here, living just as I always have. This is a quiet flight log for facing myself on a nighttime walk.

Live performances bring in an MPC operator and develop electro-driven, aggressive arrangements that differ from the chill atmosphere of the recordings.
