TOKINE, who has established a distinctive style moving between singing and rap through free expression rooted in R&B, digitally released Spectrum on July 22, 2026, as the culmination of twelve consecutive months of releases.
Like the rainbow-colored band of light separated by wavelength that its title describes, this is a concept album that treats each song as light. Across 17 tracks—including advance lead single 閃き, new songs such as 胎動, and 宝(feat. DABO) featuring DABO—diverse emotions, values and imagination form one beautiful spectrum. Absorbing elements of hip-hop, garage and club music, the songs weave together wordplay and a distinctive rhythmic sensibility to portray everything from small everyday scenes to profound emotional shifts. The result is a vividly colored masterpiece where TOKINE's dreamlike quality coexists with an urban sensibility.
All tracks were sound-produced by composer and DJ NUU$HI, who also enjoys enthusiastic support from leading producers worldwide. His assured skills fully support TOKINE's expression across a variety of genres.
