Born in 2002, artist DAACKY, who has written lyrics, composed and made tracks while also working as a dancer and choreographer, has begun performing under the new name INIMILE (イニミレ). The debut single “BORDER LINE” arrives on Wednesday, May 15.
Produced by Kosuke Crane, whose work includes BE:FIRST’s “Milli-Billi” and songs for artists making waves across Japan such as edhiiiboi and WATWING, the track is a sublime R&B number that layers INIMILE’s sensuous, beautiful melodies and dramatic lyrical world over a floating soundscape.
INIMILE plans to launch activities in earnest with this song.

INIMILE
Born in 2002, INIMILE is a singer-songwriter who also handles choreography.
Through work as a dancer, INIMILE grew up in an environment surrounded by diverse Black music, particularly R&B and hip-hop, and was deeply influenced by it. Alongside dance, INIMILE began making tracks at age 14. Under the former name DAACKY, the artist released as many as 20 songs and produced music for other artists, while also working as a backing dancer for BTS and EXILE and choreographing for Novel Core and 男澤直樹.
Continuing to pursue a range of self-produced creative work, INIMILE is broadening their horizons as an artist.
